Each year, the Ankeny Instrumental Music (AIM) Foundation is proud to co-host
Celebration in Brass with the Dubuque Colts.
| On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the Ankeny Hawks and Centennial Jaguars will co-host the annual Mid-Iowa Band Championship involving 23 Iowa high school bands. Thousands of music fans from neighboring communities and across the state will not only fill our stadium, but also businesses in our community | In the summer of 2026, the AIM Foundation and the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps will again be hosting Celebration in Brass at Valley Stadium. This marching arts competition showcases some of the most talented brass, percussion, dance and theatrical performers in the world. More than 3,000 spectators travel to Ankeny to support the hundreds of young performers in our community and around the country become their best. |
