First of all, thank you all so much for your help and support at the Johnston Marching Invitational. The performance went very well and the day went so smoothly due to the great parent volunteers we have. It was also nice to have so many people in the audience to cheer us on!

This coming week is a very busy week with all of the Up and Coming events. Here are the dress-up days and some more information about band-specific events:

• Monday: On the Prowl at Northview @ 7:30 PM! Wear your On The Prowl shirts
• Tuesday: Come As You Are Day
• Wednesday: Wizard Wednesday
• Thursday: Super Hero Day and Pep Rally & Coronation (see info below)
• Friday: Spirit Day and Homecoming Game (see info below)

New to the schedule is our Thursday Night Pep Rally and Homecoming Coronation, which the band will be performing at.

The Pep Rally begins at 7:30pm and will take place at Ankeny Stadium. In addition to playing the Fight Song and playing for the introduction of the Homecoming Court and Coronation of the King and Queen, the band will also be performing our Fall Show.

Students will need to report to the NV Band Room and be in uniform by 6:00 on Thursday. We will warm up and rehearse until the beginning of the Pep Rally. We will wear our full uniform for the Pep Rally.

On Friday night the band should report at the regular time (5:00pm) for the Homecoming Football Game.
