Last week, your student should have brought home a Commitment Form for next year’s New York Trip. In order for us to finalize the cost per student, it is important that we know how many students are planning to go on the trip. This form is due back to Mrs. Hook, Mr. Hable or Mr. Hook this Thursday, November 4.
We will be offering fundraising opportunities for the students and the cost for the trip will be spread out in a series of payments over a period of about 9 months. We want to make this as accessible for students and families as possible. Once we have a more concrete number, we can get a quote from the travel company. We are aiming for a cost per student between $1,200 and $1,500.
We will be having an informational meeting regarding the trip on Thursday, November 13th at 7:30pm in Mr. Hable’s band room at Centennial High School. All parents of students who are planning on going to New York are encouraged to attend. If you are unable to attend, please let Mr. Hook know, and he can get you the information.
If you are interested in being a part of a fundraising committee, please let Mr. Hook know. This would be a group of parents brainstorming and organizing fundraising opportunities for this trip.
