On February 7, the Centennial Jazz Bands performed at the Urbandale Jazz Colloquium at Urbandale High School. As part of this festival, bands are put into groups of 4. Students in the first band from a school are audience members for the group of 4 bands that includes their school’s second band.Each ensemble also receives a 90 minute clinic. Jazz Collective worked with John Rapson, Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Iowa. Jazz Studio worked with Steve Citta, former Director of Bands at Waterloo West High School.
